UCC appoints Canadian Nancy Sears as head of its real estate sector

Canadian real estate professional Nancy Sears has been named CEO of RE/MAX ELITE and UCC Real Estate Investment and Development (REID).

His appointment follows the recent acquisition of the RE/Max Elite real estate franchise by UCC Group through its subsidiary Spectrum Capital Markets St Lucia Limited.

Announcing the appointment, UCC Group Executive Chairman Winston Adams described Sears as a dynamic and recognized leader in the real estate industry regionally and internationally.

She has worked in the industry since March 1985 and was the youngest female broker-owner in the Greater Toronto Area in 1996.

In her nearly 37-year career, she has achieved many milestones, including ranking among the top 100 agents in 1988 for RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic, UCC said in a statement.

Currently, she is the Director of Business Growth for REMAX Royal Properties, one of the fastest growing brokerages in Canada.

“Helping people achieve their goals, build teams and grow real estate businesses is what she does best, and she has trained, managed and developed countless agents over her career,” UCC said. .

Sears, who will also act as Chief Operating Officer, will be supported by a team of highly experienced and committed real estate professionals at RE/MAX Elite and UCC REID as well as Canada’s top international performance consultants.
